Sick Baby Boy

It's been a hard week or so. Me and the boy have both been sick (there should be a rule about this not happening at the same time) but Z has been having a harder time then I have. He started out with a runny nose and a little cough, by the end of the week he was feeling really hot and the cough was worse. I took him to the doctor on Monday and he had a 102.2 temp and they found an ear infection in his right ear. I got him his antibiotic but his fever didn't seem to be getting better. Around midnight Wednesday morning, after throwing up a little on Grandma and Grandpa and getting a temp of 104.5, we decided he needed to go to the E.R. Poor baby was just miserable but didn't complain. He was just fine as long as he was being snuggled. The doctor told us he thinks he has RSV and to give him ibuprofen to keep the fever down. After a dose of it from the hospital we went home. I was getting him ready for bed and he seemed to be in high spirits until I just saw him sitting on the carpet. I don't know what made me go over to him but right when I did, vomit poured all down the front of him. I put my hands under his mouth and he just kept going. I had never seem him throw up before so it was really hard for me to see but I got him all cleaned up and he had a 2am bath. After I got him in his pajamas, he just laid down and went to sleep and slept so good all night. I think in the middle of the RSV and the ear infection, he caught a little flu bug. Today he has been SO much better. Hardly any fever, and just a happy little guy! He is now sleeping in his own bed tonight, so I am of course up late on the computer. Maybe if i'd get more sleep I'd get over my sickness as well. Good idea...
